Oh... My... Gods... Rusty finally died. And now is the day of Oaks power.

It's gonna be hell hearing his racist, sexist, homophobic voice every f-ing session. Maybe he'll pull a Howard Hunter and die in a few months, and we won't have to deal with him too long.

So, if you are stuck watching or morbidly curious, please join us for NOMference.

To those of you who've just moved into the NOM ward or those of you visiting, let me explain what NOMference is. We are going to hang out on a live thread and watch GC together. Each speaker in GC starts with a score of 0. It's up to us to decide how crap or good their talk is. You get to award points or take them away. We try to keep it around Hogwarts House points styles mostly 5s, 10s, 20s. But if you're really feeling it, go for it! And you can post funny memes or stories, eat an edible, just do whatever you need to do to get through the weekend.

Hop on NOM and join in the fun or just check in from time to time. You do you. Oh, but be sure to drink a coffee drink for and in behalf of someone stuck at GC.

I came here today just for this thread (and any similar threads).

I'm going to try to watch conference this weekend because I'm curious if anything will change (it probably won't). I don't usually make it very long, but I've got a "diamond art" picture that needs a lot of work and plan to do that while listening.

Back when I thought they visited with Jesus face-to-face in the temple every Thursday, I loved conference. I watched it all the time, even though I often fell asleep when I watched it at home.

The home page of the website says, "Hear the word of God at General Conference" - I've never seen that before. I wonder if it was there when the last conference was coming up.
